New Beginnings for Women:
Creating Your Career & Life After Divorce or Separation
Designed for women wanting to explore and plan their career and life options during or following a relationship separation or divorce, this workshop will offer an opportunity to explore what might be possible as you negotiate a transition to a new beginning.
In a small, safe and supportive group we will engage in a variety of assessment and reflection activities that will guide you to:
- Create a vision of what is possible for you in for this next chapter of your life and career, and develop a roadmap to get you there.
- Identify your transferable and preferred skills – information that can help you create a Unique Value Proposition to focus your career exploration and planning.
- Understand how your interests, through the Strong Interest Inventory, can direct you towards work and life options where you are most likely to thrive.
- Discover the tools and information you need to establish career and life goals and an action plan.
- Develop strategies for staying on track and overcoming the barriers of negative self-talk.
You will leave inspired and motivated to move forward with your vision and implementation of your roadmap and action plan.
Dates: Two options are available:
Early Bird Price: $197 if you register by September 12.

Group size is kept small and groups fill up quickly. Pre-registration required.
Once you are registered, we will set you up to take the Strong Interest Indicator online, prior to the workshop. Following the workshop, you will receive a personalized tutorial utilizing the results of your assessment, that will describe how to maximize use of the extensive O*Net database in your career planning, including exploring information on careers, accessing current labor market trends, salary information, and career exploration resources.

About the Facilitators:
Susan Jewkes Allen, MSW, GCDF is a registered Global Career Development Facilitator with an MSW in clinical practice, post-graduate credentials in transpersonal psychology, personality studies and creativity coaching. She has been in private practice for more than 20 years and is a founder of Life + Work, LLC and an associate of the Bay Area Career Center. She has experience in both the public and private sectors working in Europe, Africa, the US and Canada for such diverse organizations as the World Health Organization, the United Nations, IADB and the World Bank. She is a frequent contributor to the media on career exploration and development and has appeared in the New York Times and CBC.
Keiko Hsu, CPC, ACC, a former executive with General Electric Company, is a certified Life Coach, Business and Executive Coach, Life-After-Divorce Mentor, Speaker and Founder of the award winning Wings for Women® coaching program. Her personal experiences in transforming her own life after divorce and career change, combined with her professional coaching skills and corporate executive leadership experience uniquely enable her to serve women who are navigating through life and career transitions. New Beginnings for Women is a collaboration that will help women find their wings, reach new heights in their life, career and relationships and live a joyful life.
