Transition to Leadership Excellence
Are you looking to become a more inspirational, more effective leader?
Conventional leadership development training focuses on the HOW, i.e. how to manage people … interviewing skills, coaching and feedback skills, performance management. We focus on the WHO … i.e. who you are being so that you can inspire and motivate the people you lead to bring out their best levels of performance. We focus on enhancing your energy leadership.
What is energy leadership? Everyone resonates at a different internal energy level. It’s like the wavelength or frequency of our personality and thoughts, and it shows up in how we interact with other people.
Your energy profile determines your leadership style. Your energy profile is made up of your core thoughts and subconscious feelings of how you view yourself and the world, based on your past experiences. It consists of catabolic energy (negative, destructive energy) and anabolic energy (positive, healing energy). The good news is that it’s possible to shift your energy profile, so that you can move from a catabolic to an anabolic state, and more effectively lead yourself as well as others.
Energy Leadership™ Index Assessment
The Energy Leadership™ Index (E.L.I.) is a one-of-a-kind assessment that enables leaders to hold up mirrors to their perceptions, attitudes, behaviors, and overall leadership capabilities. The insights that you’ll gain from the Energy Leadership assessment and debrief process will change the way you view your world.
The purpose of the E.L.I. Assessment is to take a snapshot of:
(1) your current capability to lead and inspire yourself and others,
(2) your current level of engagement in your work and your life, and
(3) your current level of self-awareness of who you truly are at your core.
E.L.I. is an online questionnaire that takes about 20 minutes to complete. We will then email you a report and discuss it with you through a 45 minute debrief call. The report will show you your energy profile, and how different energy shows up in your life. You’ll learn about the 7 levels of leadership and how much energy you currently have in the catabolic-suppressing range and in the anabolic-inspirational range. Through the debrief conversation, you will discover your “default tendencies” that impact your effectiveness as a leader, especially under stressful situations.
“I’ve taken lots of leadership assessments but none were as insightful as the Energy Leadership™ Assessment. It’s uncanny how it uncovered a couple of default blind spots – especially when I’m under stress – that interfere with my effectiveness and drain my energy and creativity. It’s like I put the brakes on myself and didn’t even know it! This experience has had a powerful effect on how I feel and how I engage with others. I urge everyone to take this assessment if they want to feel renewed and re-inspired.”

Note: There are two main types of assessments: Personality and Attitudinal. Personality based assessments, such as Myers Briggs and D.I.S.C. are very valuable tools that pinpoint certain personality types so that people can have more of an understanding about what their strengths and weaknesses are. By understanding your personality and how it relates to what you do, you can adapt your behavior to “work with what you have,” to function effectively.
The E.L.I. is an attitudinal assessment, which is based on an energy/action model. This assessment differs from personality assessments as it is not intended to label a person and have them work well within that label. Instead, it measures your level of energy based on your attitude, or perception and perspective of your world. Because attitude is subjective, it can be altered. By working with a coach using the E.L.I., you can alter your attitude and perspective, make a shift in your consciousness, and increase your energy and leadership effectiveness.
